The International Film Festival, which would be generally organised in Goa every year, would be held in Hyderabad this year, under the aegis of Andhra Pradesh Film Club and the Directors' Association in coordination with the State government.

Giving the details, Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao and Thammareddy Bharadwaja say, 'We are proud to say that we are going to host the International Film Festival in Hyderabad, which is being held at Goa every year. The film festival would be held from March 23 to 29. Every day five shows would be screened at Sensation Theatres' complex in Lakdi Ka Pool in Hyderabad. The formal launch of the International Film Festival would be held at Lalitha Kala Thoranam and Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy would announce the launch of the event. We appeal all those who are connected to the film industry and the audiences to make the event a big success.
